It was a simple date night. My wife and I ambled out to the grassy area in front of our apartment building, passing blooming crape murtle bushes, gazing at the billowing cumulous clouds in a setting sun, and finally settling to watch the waxing gibbous moon in the moisture laden skies. I drew a quick composite picture to mark the event. But we spoke of more serious things, too, like the peace He has given us, friends around the world whom we pray for, and others who are having a rough time, whom we also pray for. The fading sunlight brought changes to the scene as the moon brightened and the clouds began to reflect the moon’s light rather than the direct light of the sun.
We commented to each other about God’s wondrous works, His Kingdom and His call for all to believe, if they would dare to reach out to Him.
We spoke gently to each other, expressed affection, and thanked Him for His loving kindness.
Do you know the God of the Bible? You can, but we recognize most people are only immersed in a God-forbidden belief system called evolution. We are here to tell you, it is not true.
Consider this: from God’s assessment of His creative work in Genesis 1 and 2, to declarations by the Prophets, to declarations in the Psalms, to statements in John 1, Hebrews 1, Romans, and many of the other New Testament books, works of creation comprise many of those “wonderful works”. While humankind is not doing well, His creation speaks a penetrating reality: God is mighty and true.
If evolution was true, which it is not, God’s has no involvement. Furthermore, mention of the God of the Bible is disallowed in most educational institutions. However, the incredible complexities of the heavens and the detailed information and micro-machinery in living things flies in the face of the assertions that all of what we see and study in the universe is some sort of grand accident.
It is no accident. So, our tiny date on a simple evening agrees with God’s assertions: He created the universe, and He did it by His power and majesty in six days and for our benefit, so that people might perhaps come to know Him.

“Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice, and let them say among the nations “The Lord reigns!’ Let the sea roar, and all that fills it; let the field exult, and everything in it. Then let the trees of the forest sing for joy before the Lord, for He comes to judge the earth. Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever.”
1 Chronicles 16:31-34 (ESV)
